GERD Prognosis

In some cases, patients with GERD are able to heal completely without further flare-ups or complications with an effective treatment plan. Usually, patients who seek treatment as quickly as possible have the best prognosis. The earlier treatment begins, the easier it is to prevent GERD from developing into a more serious condition.
